This document describes a MultiZone meshing method for complex geometries containing multiple zones or regions. The method allows for different mesh sizes and element types to be used in different zones to better capture the relevant physics. Boundary conformal interfaces are created between zones using conforming or non-conforming mesh connections to ensure accurate modeling of boundary conditions across zone interfaces. An example application to a geometry containing a main flow channel zone and narrow side branches demonstrates how the MultiZone approach can generate a high-quality mesh tailored for the problem.
