THEME : Information Technology
Speaking Skill TOPIC : 1. Making suggestions and recommendations 2. Stating and justifying points of view By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to : OBJECTIVES 1. Use appropriate expressions for making : suggestions and recommendations. 2. Speak persuasively to convince others. a) Students watch a video on French Learning English. b) Students watch a video on Thailand Learning English sitcom. c) Students watch a video on MUET speaking tips MUET and public speaking outline. d) Students read the articles provided on the UPM website given on the effects of social netwoorking on teenagers. 8.10 e) Students watch a video on The pros and cons - of social media. 9.30 f) Students watch two sample videos of Task A: ACTIVITIES : Individual presentation. g) Students read the questions given and look for the key words. h) Students prepare their points within the two minutes given. i) 5 students will be selected to present their points and their presentation will be recorded by the teacher. j) Other students who have not presented in class are required to record their presentation and submit it to the teacher on next lesson via Frog Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
