'2.11 WINDINGRESISTANCE
An ideal transformer is supposed to possess no resistance, but in actual transformer there is always
some resistance of' primary and secondary windings. The effect of resistance is equivalent to an
ideal transformer with resistances connected in series with each winding as shown in Fig. 12Al.
