Get into culture going to the cinema

Cinema-going is popular in Europe. Italians go about twice


a year, Britons about three times, but the Irish go four
times a year! Teens go most often.

The most popular films are blockbusters: big,
spectacular films such as The Dark Knight. Teen movies
are also popular with teenagers. These are often set in
American high schools. Two out of three films in the EU
are American.
Many cinemas are multiplex cinemas with up to 20
