    This note describes, for which platforms and operating systems SAP supports
    the NetWeaver RFC library and SDK.

    Solution
    Independent from the list below, a platform/operating system is out of
    support when the platform/operating system is out of maintenance by the
    vendor.

    The NW RFC SDK supports the following platforms and OS versions currently:

    Note:
    On Windows the latest Microsoft Runtime DLLs version 8.0.50727.4053 are
    required. Please see note 1375494 for instructions on where to download the

    On Linux the C++ Runtime 6.0 (libstdc++.so.6) is required. Please see note
    1021236 for instructions.

    This version can be used to communicate with all SAP backend systems down
    to release 4.0B. The current version supports a few additional features,
    which are not supported by older versions. For details see note 1511382.
