Re: Complaint against Ms. ______ Sanchez

Dear Sr. Enriquez:

Greetings!

With this letter, I am filing my formal complaint against Ms. ____ Sanchez, teacher in ___ of my
daughter, Marrien Nina O. Maloloy-on.

Last night, upon my arrival from office, she came inside my room crying for the shame she
suffered from the hands of Ms. Sanchez. According to her story, Ms. Sanchez confronted her for
her failure to do her task as one of the students scheduled to clean the classroom the other day.
She then reminded my daughter of the supposed punishment. That same morning, my
daughter asked permission to go collect the GEC funds as it is her schedule to do so as an
officer of GEC. Upon her return to the room, she was scolded and berated by this teacher
saying that she did not ask permission that she is bastos og walay disiplina. She was made
to stand up for the whole duration of the class. If indeed my daughter committed an infraction,
I consider the punishment SEVERE and not commensurate. Making her stand up for the whole
duration of the class did not only physically punished her but psychologically as well, as she
suffered shame throughout the duration of the class.

I would also like to take this opportunity to inform you of the various undesirous acts of Ms.
Sanchez:

Teachers serve many other roles in the classroom. Teachers set the tone of their classrooms,
build a warm environment, mentor and nurture students, become role models, and listen and
look for signs of trouble. Teachers are considered the substitute of parents in school.

On the otherhand, parents expect their their children to be safe and secured inside the school
premises and not being ridiculously punished for petty acts allegedly committed.

With this letter complaint, I am requesting for an opportunity to have an audience with Ms.
Sanchez and the eventual creation of an investigation panel to deal on the matter.

Your most favorable and immediate action is earnestly requested.
