2-1 16th+note+subdivision

This document discusses sixteenth note rhythms and subdivisions. It explains that sixteenth subdivision divides a beat into four equal parts, with the subdivisions labeled as (e) and (a). Sixteenth notes each get 1/4 of a count. When beamed together they use two beams, and when not beamed they use two flags. It also shows how sixteenth notes can be combined with eighth notes to create rhythmic patterns, with the notes beamed together to make the beat divisions clearer.
