Because your job posting list can be very long, detailed search allows you to search the list using
multiple eld lters simultaneously. Enter majors recruited, location, keywords, etc and access a very
speci c list with one action.

Job search agents will alert you when there are new jobs posted to the system that meet speci c
criteria that you have set. You can have updates sent to you as often as every day, week, etc. To set
up a search agent, click on the Jobs tab and then on Advanced Search. Once you have created a
search agent, you can enable it to run on a schedule by clicking on Search Agents in the Jobs
section.

Some employers may choose to screen applicants based on speci c quantitative criteria such as
major, graduation date, or GPA. If you do not meet the quali cations the employer is looking for, you
will not be able to apply.

This is a full-time internship from Jan to June 2018. Level

The intern will work for Marriotts Human Resources Operations (Double Degree), UG
Year 3, UG Year 3
team based in the Singapore o ce to support in delivering HR
(Double Degree), UG
related services to the management and associates of both Year 4 (Double
support o ce as well as all operational properties within the Asia Degree)
Paci c Excluding China (APEC) region.
The HR Operations, APEC oversees the overall functions of
Human Resources at property level including HR programs,
systems and practices in Marriott, Asia Paci c. The intern will
work closely with HR Operations, APEC team. The nature of work
will entail supporting the team in both HR project management
and initiatives/activities to drive operational HR excellence in
property across the region. As part of the team, the intern will
also be fully involved in daily HR operational tasks.

- Support HR Operations team on various projects and


assignments as assigned
- Support the Director of HR in new build and transitions (NBT/pre
opening) activities to ensure Marriotts programs, practices,
systems and policies are in placed & executed in the property.
- Coordinating and facilitating activities between Director of HR,
HR Manager including meetings, schedules etc.
- Support HR Operations team to roll out HR initiatives, policies
and guidelines within APEC region
- Coordinate with area based HR associates on related HR
initiatives & activities that need to be executed.
- Support internal HR communication by drafting announcements
and creating presentations
- Support the team in TM, EB, Recruitment projects and Culture
Build initiatives in APEC
- Having fully oversight of Marriotts online HR system and
database
- Analyze data and metrics and support team in proposing
recommendations for improvements

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES


You should be a high potential intern who is passionate,
committed and keen to establish a career in the Human
Resources discipline with the following attributes:
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced and action-biased environment
- Detailed-oriented, structured, and organized
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Pro cient in Microsoft O ce (especially MS Excel and MS
PowerPoint)
- Excellent Analytical and Numeracy Skills
