The JDRF South Jersey Chapter will host its annual Gala on April 5th at The Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ. Over 350 guests are expected to attend the black tie affair which will feature live entertainment, auctions, and honor Bob Platzer of PJW Restaurant Group. Last year's Gala raised over $407,000 for type 1 diabetes research and this year's "Time for a Cure" themed Gala aims to increase that amount to further support JDRF's goal of finding a cure.

Time for a Cure Gala

The JDRF South Jersey Chapter will host its annual Gala on Saturday, April 5 at The
Merion in Cinnaminson, NJ. This black tie affair will attract over 350 prominent guests, feature
live entertainment, as well as signature auction items. JDRF is thrilled once again to have Amy
Buckman of 6ABC Action News join as Special Emcee for the evening. At this years event, Bob
Platzer, CEO/President of the PJW Restaurant Group will be honored for his dedication and
commitment to the JDRF South Jersey Chapter.

With previous auction items such as 'A Night with Taylor Swift', Viva Las Vegas and an
authentic Kobe Bryant signed basketball this will be an event you won't want to miss!The Gala is
a first-class event which sells out every year, and affords our guests a fun evening and at the
same time offers networking and client cultivation opportunities. Attendees will enjoy the
musical stylings of the York Street Hustle as well as have the opportunity to experience the Fund
A Cure portion of the night.

This years theme is Time for a Cure. Every 35 seconds another person among friends,
family or colleagues is diagnosed with diabetes. The time to help is now. We hope that you can
join us in our fundraising efforts. Last years Gala raised over $407,000 for research. This year,
with your help we hope to increase this amount. Together we will reach our goals.
