COURSE DESCRIPTION

Introduction:

The course introduces students to basic grammatical concepts. It also helps them to develop

knowledge of the form, meaning, and use of important English grammar structures in order

to enhance their written and spoken performances in academic settings.

Aims:
Review and practice verb tenses related to present, past, and future time frames.

Help students to master the grammatical uses of: gerunds, infinitives, connectives,

modals, phrases, and clauses.

Help students to learn and practice word order, subject verb agreement, phrasal verbs

Assessment:
The course assessment is based on tests and onstudents performance in class + final term
exam.

TD Mark: Test 1:9 pts /Test 2:9 pts / ClassPerformance: 2 pts

Exam: 20 pts
