Foreword
This document generally describes FusionSphere concept and
optional/mandatory modules to help trainees have a brief
understanding of FusionSphere products and courses.
In addition, this document provides the specifications,
compatibility and upgrading information about FusionSphere 5.0.
Finally, this document provides the typical deployment of
FusionSphere based on two different scenarios for study and
reference.

FusionSphere
Concept
A Huawei-developed cloud operating system (OS) designed for multiple industries.
Specially for cloud design and optimization, provides:
Powerful virtualization and resource pool management functions.
Various cloud infrastructure service components and tools.
Open operation and maintenance (O&M) application programming interfaces (APIs).
Horizontally consolidates physical and virtual resources in data centers and vertically
optimizes the service platform, simplifying cloud computing deployment.

OpenStack Plug-in Extension
Involve OpenStack to Support Huawei Cloud Computing Datacenter Scenarios, the UVP system
installed on FusionCompute is based on KVM, which is different from the scenario when
OpenStack is not involved.
Currently, the VMs in FusionSphere OpenStack cannot connect to the VMs in FusionSphere which
does not use OpenStack.
