Created a grant proposal, for my own study, examining the interaction of oral hormonal contraceptives and
anxiety and depression in female collegiate student-athletes
Awarded the Magellan Grant in December 2017 and will be presenting findings at Discovery Day USC 2018
Leveraging online survey data from over ten Southeast colleges and universities to examine the impact of
hormonal contraceptives (including specific type) and mental health outcomes

Assisted in data collection and entry for multiple studies in the Children’s Physical Activity Research Group
Transferred data from accelerometers into software on computer and compiled data on EXCEL sheets
Helped set up physical activity studies, including calibrating Cosmed technology and putting accelerometers
and Cosmeds onto participants. Additionally responsible for creating recruitment documents

Group Fitness Instructor May 2016- Present
Responsible for teaching and leading multiple class formats, including High Intensity Interval Training Fit,
Cycle, Vinyasa Yoga, TRX and Cycle/Zen
Create safe and effective class plans and modify and curtail workouts based on individual athletic level
Trained four new junior level instructors on becoming effective group fitness instructors in multiple class
formats and was a key resource in their development and onboarding

Provided a beneficiary yoga class facilitating to the needs of children with a specific focus on stress relief and
breathing techniques. Led engaging, interactive and enjoyable class per student feedback

Enforced USC housing policies while fostering a safe and conducive learning environment including guiding
