What’s facial foam??
Soaps are formed from various fatty acid chains. At each end of this
chain there is an ion, generally sodium or potassium ions. Well,
when the soap mixes with water, this fatty acid chain will bind dirt,
especially greasy and fatty ones. Then, the ions present at the end
of the fatty acid chain will be responsible for bringing these fatty
acid and fecal bonds into the water. Finally, dirt can be removed
and taken away along with water. This can not be done by plain
water because water can not mix with oil, so the dirt will not
simply lift up by water.
