Scioto CASA/GAL Program, Scioto County Juvenile Court Portsmouth, OH
 Ensure that a child’s best interests are represented at every stage in the case, and that the child’s wishes are
made known to the court
 Complete an extensive, independent receive of each case: meeting face-to-face with child(ren) and speaking
relevant adults that are involved in the child’s life that might have facts about the case
 Monitor case following a court hearing and assist in developing a plan of action for all parties involved
Wish, Special Events, and Marketing Intern August 2012-August 2014

 Assisted in coordination of wishes; booked flights and housing reservations, completed detailed trip itineraries,
and put together Wish delivery bags to ensure communication of all details were passed on from the
organization to the families and outside vendors
