Save and print PowerPoint presentation as a .

pdf file with 6 slides per page


1. PowerPoint Office 2010:
a. Save you PPT presentation and click the File tab on the Ribbon
b. Click Save As

c. On the pop-up window, select a location where you want to save a file
d. In the “Save as type:” field, select PDF from the drop-down menu:

e. On the same pop-up window, click the Options button:

f. On the Options pop-up window, select Handouts from the "Publish what:" drop-down
menu in the “Publish options” area
g. Select the number of slides per page, i.e. 6 (you can select up to 9 slides), choose the
layout: horizontal or vertical. Review and check other option on the window, if you need
to include them in your printouts, and click OK:

2. PowerPoint Office 2013:


a. Save you PPT presentation and click the File tab on the Ribbon
b. Click the Export tab in the left menu
c. Click the Create PDF/XPS button in the Create a PDF/XPS Document area
d. Select a location where you want to save a file
e. On the same pop-up window, click the Options button:

f. Repeat steps f and g from the PPT 2010. Click OK and click Publish.

3. If you would like to print a PowerPoint presentation without saving it as a .pdf file, you can
arrange you printouts by putting up to 9 slides on one page and then save it as a .pdf file:
a. PowerPoint 2010 and 2013:
• Open PPT presentation and click the File tab on the Ribbon
• On the backstage page, click the Print tab in the left menu
• Under Settings, click an arrow on the Full Page Slides to open a drop-down
menu
• Choose number of slides you would like to put on the page and click the
Print button at the top of the page
