Respected Sir,

I would like to express my delight of being part of this wonderful organization. I never felt more professionally
dedicated in my life than I did now. I am grateful for the opportunity to work here. To return the favour, I have
always given the best of my abilities in this position and I always worked hard to make sure my performance
stays rising. I enjoy working here and appreciate the challenges that my position provides me every day.

I hope you may be aware, that it has being long that my salary been reviewed since my joining. I was
expecting a customary salary review as we approach the performance marks. I believe my performance has
been on par with the demands of my position. I demonstrated good understanding of what needs to be
accomplished in the scope of my work. If there is no reason preventing such a review, I would like to kindly
ask you to consider my request due to my steady performance.

Just to highlighten, I would like to bring to your notice that I have been consistent in performing my duties as
and when assigned to me time to time by all the level of hierarchy including the department Head. I have
been contributed in teaching, research, academics, extracurricular assignments, administrative tasks,
participation in fair and admission counselling etc. with my whole of my heart and efforts.
Though I am grateful for the professional opportunities the University offers me, I regret to tell you that my
current salary doesn’t meet my expectations. I am presently paid INR 15000 p.m. which makes it difficult for
me to sustain and this does refrain me to stay motivated.
Therefore, I humbly ask for a meeting in order to (review of/discuss) my performance and the salary increase
that reflects the above issues.
I strongly believe that my contribution justifies a raise in salary, because the salary level could be in
accordance with the academic norms, my current competencies and performance.
