Grading Policy:
 Student progress will be evaluated using a variety of assessment methods, including (but not limited to)
o assignments between 5-20 points
 daily discussion and participation, class work, homework, sketchbooks, journals
o assessments 20-60 points
 tests, quizzes, and writing assignments
o projects point value determined by points in the unit

 A ten point grading scale is employed:


A= 90-100 C= 70-79 F=0-59
B= 80-89 D=60-69
 The final grade will be calculated as followed
o 1st 9weeks 20%
o 2nd 9 weeks 20%
o 3rd 9 weeks 20%
o 4th 9 weeks 20%
o Final 20%

Suggested supplies: The Art Pack includes:


 Sketchbook (8 ½ x 11 or 9 x 12)
Blue and black pens, 3 ring binder (2 inch),  Set of high-quality drawing pencils

Art Supply Fee
