Enhancing online marketing:

In spite of its huge range of products and highly lucrative price, the sales of the company

are getting reduced over the past 2 years. The chief reason behind this is the aging population.

According to a survey, 68.3 percent of the consumers in developed countries like America prefers

to buy products online (Gamble, Thompson and Peteraf 2013). However, only 3 percent of

Costco’s sale is online. Hence in order to enhance its consumer base in the following 3 years, the

company should invest more on its online marketing.
