2.Sustainability Initiatives Undertaken by the government

India has played quite a pivotal function in shaping up Sustainable Developmental

Goals. The country has been fully dedicated to achieving these goals. The Indian
government has also organised a multitude of forums focused on gender equality,
climate change, and poverty elimination and so on. So let us understand some of the
sustainability initiatives as undertaken by the government.

I. Ending Poverty: This can be done through providing proper employment

opportunities through development of infrastructure for agriculture, providing more
opportunities for entrepreneurship. The MNREGA itself has provided employment for
over 2 billion people. Another strategy to end poverty is to actually provide access to
the basic amenities like for example the RTE act which provides free and compulsory
education to children up to 14 years of age.

II. Ensuring Healthy Life and wellbeing: The government has implemented the
National Health Policy, which aims at making the healthcare universal as well as
reducing infant mortality and death due to non-communicable diseases. The
government aims to provide DPT vaccination to all unimmunized children by 2020.
Health insurance cover for BPL families has been announced.

III. Gender Equality and women empowerment: Several initiatives such as ‘Save The
Girl Child’ have been implemented to elevate the status of the girls. Maternity
benefits has been implemented which protects the women from wage losses for a
period of 6 months after childbirth.

IV. Sustainable Industrialization and Innovation: Road access and electrification

works are being brought to the villages. Digital India initiative aims at building a
digitally empowered society which aims at providing internet access to everyone.
Launching up of the Start up India programme

V. Sustainable protection of water bodies and marine resources: Marine research as

well as eco friendly marine technologies to preserve ecosystem. Sagarmala
programme has been started to improve connectivity of the ports and development of
coastal community.
A great partnership is actually necessary to attain the SDG. This is quite important as this will
help the country reach its goals faster.

7. How is Automation going to impact Work Flow?

Automation will help us not only to handle the simple tasks but also to figure out the
irregularities and errors in the routine tasks so that the human operator can take the action in a
better way. They can be used at:

I. Simplified Data entry and tasks: Automation and AI exceed expectations at commonplace,
dreary errands like information section and handling. Where a human administrator can rapidly
end up exhausted, wore out, diverted or overpowered, computerized strategies keep appropriate
on going. The 1,000th passage is as crisp and precise as the first. Automation can likewise
streamline these basic undertakings and coordinate information into your current frameworks
without extra provoking or steps. The correct automation process can likewise distinguish those
passages that are sketchy somehow or that should be explored by a live administrator.

II. Enhanced ability to share and track changes: As with any cloud based, paperless framework,
data input through computerized framework is accessible quickly to all colleagues, regardless of
whether they are in a similar room or in various parts of the nation. Having the capacity to get to
the whole task at whatever point they have to enhance coordinated effort and booking, while
robotized following of changes enhances work process and correspondence. Colleagues have the
alternative to finish an undertaking with the certainty that all progressions are being followed and
spared or they can drive the venture through to the following individual, moving it along and
speeding things up.

III. Improved accuracy: Human audience members can misjudge the talked word or even mishear
numbers and names when information is inputted face to face or from the telephone. Robots
don't commit these sorts of errors. Indeed, even with composed printed material, it very well may
be hard to tell an "I" from a "l" or mix-up an inadequately composed 7 or a 4. Mechanized
frameworks enable information to come appropriate from the setup point; if the customer or
client inputs information into a PC created shape, that information is constantly entered
accurately. The enhanced precision of the two information and preparing disposes of mistakes –
and ensures your client that arranged 2 things doesn't get 22 or 222 of a similar thing.

1. Impact on technology(AI & ML) on future jobs

Technology will impact the parts of jobs i.e. the tasks but not the jobs. The jobs might be lesser in
number in future but will not vanish. We know that the strategic management pyramid is divided into
strategic, tactical and operational levels. Basically, AI and ML will be placed in the operational level
because of the nature of jobs in this level. The level of activities in the operational level is
transactional in nature and is not uncertain, so the output of the activities here will be always certain
in nature. In these cases AI and ML can be applied where as in the strategic level, where the activities
and their implications will be uncertain in nature, there will always be a scope of human intervention.
Thus, machine learning and AI would be transforming many jobs but total automation will be less
significant. The jobs which are most likely to be coming over in future would be: Data detective,
Man-machine teaming manager, AI business development manager, AI Assisted healthcare
manager, etc, So we can see that for every working of AI, we need a human intervention and this is
how the jobs will be shaped up in future.
