1. Determine good estimates of the fugacity for SO2 at 600K and 300 bar by using eqn. (11.67).

2. Estimate the fugacity of isobutylene as a gas at 280oC (553.15 K) and 20 bar by using eqn.
(11.68).

3. Determine the fugacity and fugacity coefficient for isobutane at 40oC (313.15 K) and pressure
of 2 bar, 5.28 bar and 8 bar. The saturation pressure of isobutane at 40oC (313.15 K) is 5.28
bar.
Given the fugacity coefficient for vapor phase, fugacity for liquid phase and molar volume of
saturated liquid are:
