Smart Classroom
In modern E learning and online educaton based system, the smart class and
smart school are not an unknown thing, because in a smart class there will be
computer enabled educaton system. Smart Class provides a platorm for
online E Class.
What is Smart Class ?

Smart Classrooms are technology enhanced classroom that foster
opportunites for teaching and learning by integratng learning technology,
such as computers, sofware, audience response technology, assistve listening
device, networking and audio visual capabilites. It is a new vision in Educaton.
The use of Educaton Technology can bring a huge change in educaton.
Internet and E Learning devices can make class room environment extremely
amazing.
Smart Classroom Concept

Smart Classrooms are the classrooms enhanced with technological equipment
for the purpose of beter learning and teaching based on the equipment
available smart classrooms can be categorized as follows :-
i) Basic Smart Classes : The classrooms with basic smart technology
include gadgets like Laptop or Computers, projector, DVD or VCD
player and a viewing screen etc.
ii) Intermediate Smart Classes : The intermediate smart classrooms are
one step ahead of the basic technology smart classrooms. The
include gadgets like a smart podium with the control panel in
additon to a laptop, projector, screen and DVD or VCD player etc.
iii) Advanced Smart Classes : The advanced smart classroom have all the
gadgets of a basic or intermediate smart classroom but their features
are very advanced, that is, they used the newest technology.

visualizer (12 tme optcal zoom and 8 tme digital zoom),

Advantages of Smart Classrooms

Quality educaton is an essental in todays compettve environment.
Technology has efected us in every aspect. The smart classes is a modernized
method of educaton in Indian Educaton scenario. Benefts and short comings
of this mode of educaton, here they come.

i) Anytime access to the Eppensive World of online information
A smart class can extract the potental of best online resources in teaching and
learning. Teachers can access online informaton from various educatonal
artcles that are published on the net.
ii) Digital tools help students understand the topic beter
Now is the age of smart classes which allow the faculty to import educaton
using power point presentaton, audio-sessions and video-conferencing. It is
through smart classes that students will be able to assimilate all the
informaton that is presented via these instructonal tools.

teachers an entrely diferent way of presentng informaton to students.

media, this advanced technologies present an interestng platorm for both the
teachers and students.
Disadvantages of Smart Classroom

i) Cost Concerns
School administrators need to burn a hole in their pockets to keep their school
abreast with the latest technologies in teaching.
ii) Inevitable Cheating
While have an informaton may seen like a great thing. It can becomes a real
problem in a test taking environment.
iii) A disconnected youth
The harmful efect of technology has already come to light in today’s world.
iv) Possible disconnection of Social Interaction
Many people are skeptcal of technology and what it does to student ability to
verbally communicate.
Conclusion
The Smart classroom is a one-stop resource for students needing research,
technology, or writng help. The usage of this new technology must be
encouraged educaton system. The Smart classroom provide the students as
well as teacher to learn through a new techniques and too in a diferent and
interestng manner.
