KNOT BABY SHOES

Needle size 3 (UK) (I use straight needles)


Some 20grams wool (I used Drops Baby Merino)

For the shoe:


Cast on 46 stitches
0 : knit all the stitches (this is like a preliminary row, doesn’t count)
1º: k1, yo, k21, yo, k2, yo, k21, yo, k1
2º and all the even rows: knit
3º: k2, yo, k21, yo, k4, yo, k21, yo, k2
5º: k3, yo, k21, yo, k6, yo, k21, yo, k3
7º: k4, yo, k21, yo, k8, yo, k21, yo, k4
9º: k5, yo, k21, yo, k10, yo, k21, yo, k5 (you have 66 stitches)
Rows 10 to16 : knit
17º: k15, knit 2 together 18 times, k15 (you have 48 stitches)
Rows 18 to 21: knit
22º Bind off all the stitches

For the strap:


Cast on 80 stitches and knit 5 rows. In the 6th one bind off all the 80 sts
Finishing:
Sew the back and sole of the shoe.
Pin the strap to the back of the shoe, center it and sew some 24 stitches (stitch
to stitch and it will look like knitted)
