ADMISSIONS PROCESS: GIBS PGDIP/MBA

The information below will help facilitate your admission and application to GIBS.
Step 1: Meet the Requirements
• SAQA Certificate of Evaluation – required
• Completed Bachelors’ degree
to commence your application
(undergraduate/ honours/ B Tech etc.)
(International qualifications)
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience
• Proof of payment – R 3000 application fee
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience (non-refundable)
• Minimum 2 references
Step 4: Submit Reference Forms
• Completed essay
Request Referees to complete reference form
Step 2: Decide on a Format

Select ONE option from the formats below:
Minimum of 2 references required
2 YEAR - Part time programme (RED)
Monday and Wednesday evening (17:30 – 21:30) Step 5: Assessment
and full day Saturday or Sunday (08:30 – 17:30); OR Degreed Applicants only
Write GIBS Entrance test
2 YEAR - Part time programme (YELLOW)
Tuesday and Thursday evening (17:30 – 21:30) and Non-degreed Applicants
full day Saturday or Sunday (08:30 – 17:30); OR GMAT Assessment is COMPULSORY

2 YEAR - Short Block Modular classes (GREEN)
Full day Thursday and/or Friday, Saturday and Step 6: Decision and feedback by Admissions
Sunday (08:30 – 17:30) every second week; OR Department
Note: Please expect from date of the GIBS test a
2 YEAR - Long Block Modular classes (BLUE): four-week period before you receive your feedback.
Seven - eleven consecutive days every alternative
