The main objective of this study was to determine the innovative methods and
strategies used in the teaching of physical education in the junior high schools at Roxas,
Isabela.

The subject of this study were the eighteen (18) teachers of physical education in
the seven (7) junior high schools in Roxas, Isabela, both private and public school.
To gather data for the study, the researchers made use of the questionnaire as the
main tool. An unstructured interview was likewise conducted with the respondents to

Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions are drawn:
