    SPECIFICATIONS

    1.ALL ELECTRICAL WORKS HEREIN SHALL BE DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES
    AND REGULATIONS OF THE LATEST EDITION OF THE PHILIPPINE ELECTRICAL CODE,
    APPLICABLE ORDINANCES OF THE GOVERNMENT AND WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
    THE LOCAL UTILITY POWER COMPANY.

    2. METALLIC ENCLOSURE, RACEWAY AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT SHALL BE


    GROUNDED.

    3. MINIMUM SIZE OF WIRE SHALL BE 2.0 mm² THHW IN 20 mm. Ø PVC ELECTRICAL
    PIPE OR UNLESS SPECIFIED.

    4. WHENEVER REQUIRED AND NECESSARY, PULL BOXES AND JUNCTION BOXES OF


    PROPER SIZE SHALL BE INSTALLED AT CONVENIENT AND INCONSPICUOUS LOCATION
    ALTHOUGH SUCH BOXES ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE PLANS NOR MENTIONED IN THE
    SPECIFICATION.

    5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY AND ORIENT THE ACTUAL LOCATION OF SERVICE
    ENTRANCE FOR
    CONNECTION TO POWER COMPANY SERVICE POINT.

    6. ALL WIRING SHALL BE INSTALLED IN STANDARD MOLD FLEX OR PVC ELECTRICAL


    CONDUITS RUN EMBEDDED INSIDE THE CONCRETE AND HOLLOW BLOCKS
    STRUCTURE, SLABS, COLUMNS, WALLS, PARTITIONS AND INSIDE THE CEILING SPACES,
    WHERE THE USE OF CONCEALED CONDUIT WIRING IS IMPACTIBLE SURFACE METAL,
    PVC MOLDING MAY BE USED.

    7. ELECTRICAL WORK SHALL BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECT AND FULL SUPERVISION OF
    A DULY LICENSED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER OR REGISTERED MASTER ELECTRICIAN

    8. PANELBOARD SHALL BE COMPLETE WITH BUS, ENCLOSURE AND TRIM, COMPLETE


    AND MODULED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKER, WITH RATING AS INDICATED. PROVIDE A
    TYPED CIRCUIT DIRECTORY.
    9. ALL ELECTRICAL DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT EXPOSED TO WEATHER SHALL BE
    WEATHER-PROOF.

    10. ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR THE PREMISES SHALL BE 230V, SINGLE PHASE, 2 WIRE.

    11. TEST: THE FOLLOWING SHALL BE TESTED IN PRESENCE OF AN ENGINEER, AND


    RESULTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO AN ENGINEER FOR APPROVAL.
    a. OPERATION TEST
    b. INSULATION RESISTANCE
    c. GROUND RESISTANCE (if there is a ground rod )

    12. THE DRAWING AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE MEANT TO BE COMPLIMENTARY TO


    EACH OTHERAND WHAT IS REQUIRED BY ONE SHALL BE BINDING AS IF CALLED BY
    BOTH, ANY APPARENT CONFLICT BETWEEN DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND
    ANY CONTROVERSIES OR UNCLEAR POINTS IN EITHER, SHALL BE REFERRED TO THE
    ELECTRICAL CONSULTANT OR DESIGNER FOR FINAL DECISION.

    13. ALL REVISION OR ADDITIONAL WORKS ON ELECTRICAL PLAN SHOULD BE


    CONSULTED TO THE DESIGNER.

    14. MOUNTING HEIGHT OF DEVICES APPROVED BY ENGINEER IN CHARGE AS


    FOLLOWS:
    a. PANELBOARD - 1.80 m. ABOVE FLOOR LINE
    b. SWITCHES - 1.40 m. ABOVE FLOOR LINE
    c. CONVENIENCE OUTLET - 0.30 m. ABOVE FLOOR LINE.
