    Joining CanBIM as an Educational Member Institution gives you a seat at the table with Industry leaders.
    It is an opportunity to get involved, learn from others and drive the conversation forward.

    Benefits for Education Institution


    • Opportunity to host a CanBIM Satellite Session at your facility and offer Industry and Academic
    Presentations showcasing your institution. Recorded content.
    • Brand alignment and association with Industry leaders in BIM.
    • Opportunity to participate in driving change in the industry through participation on the CanBIM
    Education & Research Committee.
    • Opportunity to work with and build opportunities with industry leaders.
    • FREE CanBIM Certification for one (1) Academic Course
    • Access to Membership Benefits for all Faculty included in just one Annual Membership fee.

    Educational Members are also able to offer their enrolled students Student Affiliate Membership at no
    additional cost to the Educational Institution or the Student.

    Student Affiliate Membership


    Any Educational Institution maintaining CanBIM Membership can offer their students CanBIM Student Affiliate
    Members at no additional cost. They are able to participate in supporting the eight CanBIM Industry Committees
    and therefore contribute to the process of developing various initiatives alongside Industry leaders.

    Benefits for Students


    • Industry Research Opportunities – engage industry leaders to complete Student Research Projects or
    Assignments.
    • Student Ambassador Program – Student leaders form a student operated group that hosts industry
    speaking engagements backed by CanBIM Industry network.
    • Student Resume listing and access to job posting board from Industry Leaders (Coming soon!)

    CanBIM Certification For Educational Institutions

    CanBIM Members

    First Course:
    • Application Fee $0.00
    • Certification $0.00
    • Course Certification valid for 2 academic calendar years
    • Assigned teaching faculty will be required to become
    CanBIM-certified within the first 4 months of course
    certification.
    • Course re-certification at end of 2-year period $100.00

    Subsequent Courses:
    • Application Fees $100.00 per course
    • Certification Fee based on Level of Certification per course
    or Program
    • Course Certification valid for 2 academic calendar years
    • Assigned teaching faculty will be required to become
    CanBIM-certified within the first 4 months of course
    certification.
    • Course re-certification at end of 2-year period $100.00
