This document discusses the application of the Hydrologic Engineering Center's Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) for simulating runoff in the Krishna River basin in India. The model was set up and calibrated using rainfall and discharge data from 2000 to 2010. Results showed the HEC-HMS model was able to simulate runoff volumes and peak flows reasonably well with calibration, indicating it can be used as an effective tool for runoff prediction in the Krishna basin.
