I live in Chiclayo, Lambayeque capital city, northern of Peru.
I live in an urbanized area. It’s called Bancarios. It’s closed to the stadium.
Chiclayo is not a really big city, so you can go anywhere quickly. Also the
people is kind and gentle. That’s why Chiclayo is known as the friendship city.
Chiclayo hasn’t got many entertaiment places, so you can go to the cinema or
shop in Real Plaza shopping center.
But if you get bored of the city, you can enjoy an outdoor day on the beach.
Pimentel is the closest one. But there are many more.
Also there are a lot of cultural places around the city, for example Huaca
Rajada, Chotuna – Chornancap, Ventarron and their own museums.
And definetely you have to taste the thypical gastronomy. You must prove Frito

HOMEWORK 2
Imagine you have received the following e-mail from a friend. Write a
reply. Use the TIP and the plan on page 133.
Hey Phill!
It was nice to hear from you again. And it turned better because of the
amazing new. I'm really glad you are going to study here.
Personally, I believe it could be possible to get a part - time while you are
studying, if you try hard. If you let me give you an advice, I'm going to say that
you should live in Bancarios, because it's close to the downtown as well as all
the universities. And that would be helpful for you. I think there are a place to
work as a waiter in a restaurant called Marako's Grill and another one in Casa
Andina. I'm going to get more information to be sure and I'll text you.
Do not worry about anything! If you get bored, you can go to the cinema or
shop in Real Plaza shopping center or go to dance to some disco. But if you
want to enjoy an outdoor day. There are a lot of beaches, pools and country
recreation places. I'll show you good places to hang out.
TASK 2
Report what happened to the class.
It was 2 o’clock in the afternoon. I was going to visit my mother and little
sister. I was walking down the street and calling my mother, but she
didn’t answer the call, when i saw a lot of people pile up on the street.
Suddenly, there were shout and cries and a lot of confused noise, i was
petrified.
Immediately I rushed to find what was all that, when i saw a lot of smoke
and firefighters close to my mom’s house. I couldn’t see well because
the people and smoke, so i though the worst. My heart broke in pieces.
I started to call to my mom and her husband, but they didn’t answer. As i
was calling to my mom, I heard one of my mom’s friend was talking to
me. I ask him what happened.
He told me that he was with my mom, my mom’s husband and my little
sister when they heard a noisy sound, and inmediatly the glass of the
Windows broke. They got scared because sounded like a wall or a house
was collapsing.
They was went down the stairs and tried to leave the home, but the door
was stuck. While he was trying to open the door, my mom said that they
could scape for the window hole. So they did it.
As soon as they left the home, they rushed out to get a safety place.
That was when they could see that a big fire broke out at the neighbor's
house. My mom took my little sister and went to my house because they
couldn’t have a lunch and ask him if he could wait for me and tell me
what happened.
While he was telling me that, a firefighter said the cause of the fire was a
gallon of gas. Because the house would have been an informal gas
distribution business.
I could see how the people were rescued with a fire ladder truck. But
unfortunately they could not save all the persons who lived there, and
three deaths were reported. Two kids and one old woman, who were
close to the gallons when the first one exploded.
