    A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE THREE-YEAR (2017-2019) COMMUNITY-BASED DISASTER RISK


    REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY________________, ALICIA, ISABELA

    WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10121 also known as the “Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
    Management Act of 2010” states that a “Community-Based Disaster Reduction and Management
    (CBDRRM) is a process of disaster risk reduction and management in which at risk communities are
    actively engaged in the identification, analysis, treatment, monitoring and evaluation of disaster risks in
    order to reduce their vulnerabilities and enhance their capacities, and where the people are at the heart
    of decision-making and implementation of disaster risk reduction and management activities;

    WHEREAS, CBDRRM Plan shall serve as a basic guide and a useful reference in achieving the goals
    and targets of the Barangay Local Government Unit;

    WHEREAS, this plan is intended to serve as a basic tool and a vital reference of the barangay
    leaders and the local residents in achieving their vision, mission, goals and objectives towards a resilient
    community;

    NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, as it is hereby resolved, to approve this Three-Year Community-


    Based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (2017-2019) of Barangay ____________, Alicia,
    Isabela;

    RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to all concerned authorities for their
    information, guidance and appropriate action.
