    UV Noise Reduction

    A new image processing algorithm has been implemented to


    suppress random noise from sources in the background or
    generated by the detector.

    The 3D noise reduction algorithm removes pixels which do not re-


    occur at the same spot for a given window period. Considering
    that the UV Blob glow lasts for longer than one frame this will
    remove chip noise and very low intensity signal resulting from
    background noise.

    The Classic CoroCAM 504 edge shadow has been implemented


    after many users requested it.

    Focus Match

    In previous models the UV camera focus could be synchronised


    with the visible camera, this resulted in fast draining of the battery
    due to the visible camera hunting for the best focus level and the
    UV camera assembly being moved to follow suite.

    Focus Match

    The “Focus match” function quickly synchronises the UV camera


    focus position with the visible camera focus position and returns
    UV focus to manual focus mode for fine focus.

    An Ethernet port was added for remote


    control of the camera and video streaming to
    networked devices.
