    Dan's Pitch

    GHOSTS OF WAR
     So for my FMP I really wanted to go back to the start of the
    year and do another Horror film
     This would show how much I have improved over the year
     I did not want to just write a scary story because it was a horror, I
    wanted to create a story with a lot of character in, so I sat down
    with my dad and looked through a script he wrote about 10
    years ago, I took this script and adapted it into a 10,15 min short
    film using the similar story line.
     This film is about a family who are being haunted by a ghost from
    WW2 as one of the family members stole a ring from a battlefield
    and ended up in hospital.

    GHOSTS OF WAR
     As I personally believe the most important thing about a story is
    the characters. I really wanted to hire actors to do these
    characters justice. I looked on Star Now and created a list of
    possible actors who fit the role
     These actors will hopefully be interested in helping out, as most
    have only done extra work and they're all looking for a bit of
    experience.
     Most of the costumes I will need will be very easy to get a hold of
    as they are just casual wear for most characters. I need a
    German uniform, which I have permission to use already from
    Ronnie.

    HOW DO I ACHIEVE THIS


     My target audience is anyone who likes horror films or is
    interested in the legacy of war, this film will have some scenes in
    which may be too scary for younger viewers so I would rate this
    film 12+

    Getting the costumes right is very important as it gives you an immediate
    assumption of what a character is like, so from these 4 photos you can
    already assume that Mark is a business man, with a very casual dress
    sense, and had a bit of a dad coat

    LOCATIONS
    So for my film I need to record in 3
    different locations. The main location
    is in my grandparent's house, they
    have a spare room that I am
    planning on creating a living room
    setup for our characters. I will be
    taking family photos from the cast
    and placing them around the room
    to add more detail.

    Another location is Rickerby park for


    a couple of scenes .

    I also need access to the hospital


    ward in the university, which I have
    sent a couple of emails to find out if
    this is possible. If it is not there are
    certain parts of my script that need
    changed but I have already
    planned for this
