Homologated Optional Components

1. Updated OEM Components – Components released by Elan Motorsports


Technologies to replace or reinforce OEM components. The goal of these items
is to improve reliability, safety, and cost. These items will be released to the
customer through the technical bulletin process.

2. Front Louvre Panels (DP02-40-011 & DP02-40-012) – These panels


improve front downforce, but add drag to the car. The panels may only be run in
the stock condition and location, as a replacement for the flat panels (DP02-40-
013 & DP02-40-014).

3. Rear Louvre Panels (DP02-40-017 & DP02-40-018) - These panels


improve rear downforce, but add drag to the car. The panels may only be run in
the stock condition and location, as a replacement for the flat panels (DP02-40-
019 & DP02-40-020).

4. Front Dive Planes (DP02-40-045 & DP02-40-046) - These components


improve front downforce, but add drag to the car. The dive planes may only be
run in the stock condition and location specified in the technical bulletin.

5. Performance Friction Brake Rotors (PJ-0120 & PJ-0121) – Teams


may run the PFC brake rotor as a replacement for the OEM Alcon brake rotors.
No modification to the rotors, as they are supplied, is allowed.

6. Gear Position Sensor (DP02-70-013) – The optional gear position sensor


provides the ECU and the dashboard with the correct gear position.
