    Biologist • Storyteller • Instigator
    “MARKETING NATURE AND THE RISE OF CITIZEN SCIENCE"
    Dave works at the intersection of science, policy, and public engagement for the
    conservation of Nature. He is a storyteller and an agent of change. Dave lives in
    Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and currently works for a coalition of environmental non-
    profit organizations in Atlantic Canada with the shared goal to protect ocean
    biodiversity. Previously, Dave was the Managing Director, Biodiversity at the Royal
    Ontario Museum and the Senior Curator, Environment at the Toronto Zoo. Dave is a
    leader and collaborator, and has over 20 years of experience helping regional,
    national, and international communities achieve their conservation goals.
