Project Name NSN-FSMR3
FSMr3 is Release 3.0 of the latest 3G flexi BTS product line from
NSN.FSMr3 supports different flavours of Interface cards supporting
E1/T1/JT1and GE interfaces. In the current FSMr3 release project
focused on the Transport Software residing inside the BTS which acts as
a Gateway between the BTS Flexi Signal modules and the 3G RNC. The
basic functionality of the product is call processing and sending,
receiving and forwarding of Data and voice Traffic. Flexi System Module
Project Description
is a transmission sub-module that provides the physical IuB interface
towards the Radio Network Controller (RNC). The IuB interface towards
RNC shall be Ethernet, PDH (E1/T1) or Flexibus. The testing is carried out
on IP and ATM data traffics over these IuB interfaces. There are several
additional features like BFD , Ethernet OAM , ATMoEthernet, ToP , SyncE
, OSPF , MLPPP , RSTP , IP filtering , VLAN Traffic Differentiations , QoS,
Ethernet switching , Performance monitoring, Fault management etc to
ensure the quality and security of the data transmission.
• Test strategy preparation and test case design for various features
and analysis.
• Manual and Automation testing in lab environment for different
features.

different features in FSMr3 like RSTP, IP Fragmentation, QOS, ARP,
