in the payment of Contractor’s claim for progress billing beyond forty-five (45)

on-going road widening/concreting of barangay road (LGU – Burgos Project) causing the delay on the delivery

a. The approval of the request for contract time extension will not entail any additional cost to the project since the
Contractor is not going to file any additional claim and the performance bond is co-terminus with the final acceptance of
the project.
b. This request is in accordance with the provisions set forth under Section IV - General conditions of contract
under the following applicable clause; Clause 45- Suspension of Work and clause 47 – Extension of Contract Time.
c. In view of the foregoing, may we hereby recommend for consideration and approval, the request of J.D.
MADRID CONSTRUCTION for a total of Two hundred ten (130) calendar days Contract time with suspension and
extension in accordance with the implementation of the above subject project.
