    Rationale /
    Narrative Reports are a legal requirement on the school, and an important organ of home/
    school communication. But they can also be seen as an opportunity to create a relationship
    between the school and the family, and let them know about things that concern or delight
    and communicate ways forward in all cases.
    Excellent performance! More effort needed! It is not too late to improve! Keep it up!
    These are some of the common remarks written by the teachers on students’ report
    cards at the end of each quarter. A report card is a document that communicates a students’
    performance against a class size or set of grades.

    Objectives  The purpose of a report card is to inform a child’s parent or legal guardian of his or her
    academic progress during the quarter. Since parents consider it the most important document
    that they receive from the school, it is imperative that the quarterly report card accurately
    reflects a students’ performance.
