Qualifications (at the Time of Application)


▶ Undergraduate : Currently enrolled full-time as a sophomore or above in an accredited college
or university
▶ Transfer / Graduate : Must have completed at least 1 semester at an accredited college
or university as full-time

Admission Requirements
▶ GPA : 2.7/4.3 [2.5/4.0] or above
▶ Language Proficiency (either English or Korean)
English : TOEFL iBT 79 / IELTS 6.5 or above Korean : KLAT level 4 / TOPIK level 4 or above
*Note : Native English / Korean Speakers & students studying their degree in English are waived.

Course Opening

Although course openings tend to be similar for each semester (spring to spring, fall to fall), course
schedule is published about 1~2 months before course registration.

Credit Transfer

Yonsei University does not guarantee registration for specific courses. Please consult with your home
institution academic coordinator before application regarding credit transfer. Exchange/visiting
student’s credit transfer is up to home institution’s policies.

Learning Expectations

Undergraduate : 9 – 18 credits
Graduate : 9 – 15 credits
➋ Language of Instruction : English, Korean
➌ Intensive Korean Language Course (optional)
From Monday to Friday, 2 hours of class everyday
6 credits/total of 160 hours of intensive Korean language course
Provided in 6 levels (placement test on the first day of class)
