Colas is a worldwide leader in transportation infrastructure construction and maintenance. It is active in

the construction and maintenance of road, air, rail and maritime transport infrastructure, urban
development projects and recreational facilities. Allied Consultant has analyzed Colas system that is
comprised of 50+ transactional data instances distributed over various servers. Data warehouse along
with staging databases have been established and used to populate business KPIs.

Alberta Tubular Products is Canada’s premier OCTG and Line Pipe distributor. They have been providing
premium casing, tubing, line pipe and HDPE pipe to Oil and Gas industry. Allied Consultant has provided
Business Intelligence solution to ATP that helps to save over a million dollars in the current financial year

 Works closely with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and
processes.
 Designed, developed and implemented a Data Warehouse from scratch using SQL server.
 Created ETL packages to load the data from various sources into the Data Warehouse.
 Analyze reports, data and systems. Correct broken reports and/or data. Recommend solutions to
keep the data correct in real-time

This report is showing Short/Excess of raw materials. i.e. if raw materials are in short or excess quantities
as per the customer bookings/orders for furnished items. It is part of yarn/fiber (raw material)
procurement & planning system. This is showing DETAILED VIEW of yarn/fiber booked orders vs
requirement. Yarn requirement arise from customer's fabric weaving booking orders. This helps to figure
out the short / excess of yarn/fiber (raw material). i.e. whether the yarn booking (booked orders) is short
or excess than requirement of yarn. Secondly, this helps to pin point the rates comparisons. i.e. yarn
booking rate vs. yarn rate on fabric booking customer's orders (BOOKED by marketing dept.). i.e. it helps
top management to sort out that, fabric booking orders done by marketing are as per the rates of yarn.
Data is grouped by yarn count/type wise (i.e. item wise). Following 2 snapshots are of this report. First
view showing initial columns (left side scrolled view) and next view showing right side columns. Ypo is
purchase order of yarn and OIF is customer order for fabric.
