Sir,
1. A Memorandum of Understanding (lYoU) between ICG and BCG was signed on

06 Jun 15 for the establishment of a collaborative relationship to combat transnational
illegal activlties at sea and development regional cooperation between the two Coast
Guards. A SOP betlveen ICG and BCG was also signed on 08 Apr 17 to implement the
various provisions of the MoU.
2. As per the provisions of MoU and SoP, A high level delegation (06 lvlember) led by
Rear Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury, NBP, OSP, BCGM, BCGIYS, ndc, psc, Director
General Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) will visit India frcm 26-30 Aug 18 to
participate in the HLM. The political angle clearance from IVIEA has already been
accorded.
3. The delegates (06) are scheduled to visit Red Fort on 26 Aug 18 and Qutub Minar
and Humayun Tomb on 27 Aug 18.
4. The delegates are Guest of Honour and, therefore, it is requested that necessary
assistance including entry pass and suitable guide may please be provided for the
visit.
