adopt verb TAKE CHILD

clarify verb [T ] EXPLAIN

when you come extremely close to a dangerous or unpleasant situation or only
just manage to avoid it

consistent adjective NOT CHANGING


1. always behaving or happening in a similar, especially positive, way
There has been a consistent improvement in her attitude.
Her work is sometimes good, but the problem is she's not consistent.

court noun SPORT

to include something as part of something larger
Suggestions from the survey have been incorporated into/in the final design.
This aircraft incorporates several new safety features.

indicate verb SHOW

indigenous adjective

naturally existing in a place or country rather than arriving from another place

famous for something
The region is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty.

sequential adjective FORMAL


following a particular order

simultaneous adjective
happening or being done at exactly the same time
There were several simultaneous explosions in different cities.

world-class adjective
Someone or something world-class is one of the best that there are of that type in
the world

a world-class athlete/performance
