    This program aims to develop basic journalism skills in elementary students based on the Campus Journalism Act of 1991. Over the course of grades 5 and 6, students will engage in a range of journalism activities organized into four quarters. In each quarter they will learn about and practice different journalism skills and genres, including news writing, feature writing, copyediting, headline writing, photojournalism, editorial writing, editorial cartooning, and desktop publishing layout. The goal is to hone students' journalistic and broadcasting abilities through hands-on experience with the various components and processes of journalism.

    II. Program Description: This program is based on the “Rules and Regulations for the Implementation of Republic Act No. 7079 (Campus
    Journalism Act of 1991)” which serves as an act providing for the development of campus journalism and for other purposes. Its main focus is
