A. SETTING THE STAGE:
(Teacher comes to class with a sad face..)
Teacher says: Class, I have a problem, My friend has been bashed on facebook and
I’d like to help him. In fact, I want all of us to help him. We can do it by learning how
to make correct sentences. This is called making our subject agrees with our verb in
the sentence… Here is what we are going to do. We will make the subject agrees with
the verb in a sentence.
I will show you my friend’s post on Facebook and let us find out why him post
was being bashed.
The message is there, right? He wants to express his feelings that he is very happy
with the gift that he have received during his graduation day.. Do you agree with
me???
But why do you think that still he has been bashed?? The post has been bashed
because of the subject verb agreement.
Here it is, the subject in his post is mother and the verb in his post is give..
