TECHNICAL ASPECT

The Technical aspect is the discussion of the basic and operation flow of the project. The

technical aspect is one of the essentials of this study because this factor responds to the

technicalities and basic structure of the proposed study. This includes the list of equipment,

materials, structure plan and also the source of the supplies use in the proposed project. Business

plans, promotion strategies, utilities, facilities, layout designs and location includes in this

chapter.

It is a large part of determining resources has to do with assessing technical feasibility. It

considers the technical requirements of the proposed project. The technical requirements are then

compared to the technical capability of the organization. The systems project is considered

technically feasible if the internal technical capability is sufficient to support the project

requirements.

The plant will produce a yema cake with highest quality standards that will represent an

appreciable, considerable and reasonable cost in the market. The machinery and equipments are

produced by leading and dependable dealers in the country. The use of these equipments will be

taught by technicians coming from the suppliers and eventually terminated as the techniques are

learned by the personnel.

The raw materials of yema cake are readily available on the local market. They are

trucked to the plant site with the freight prepaid by the supplier. To insure a good quality

product, proper control is enforced. The electric and water utilities are readily available.

A. The Product

Made with with alight cake, thick and sticky yema frosting, and sprinkle of

cheese.Yema refers to a custard candy which has also an egg yolk and condensed milk.

This cake is just a simple chiffon cake that hasYema on top that serves as the icing. The

preparation time is 20 minutes while the cooking time is 1 hour and 10 minutes for a total time of

1 hour and 30 minutes. It is best serve when cooled. Its appearance will be color yellow, brown

or orange depending on its icing.

The table shows the step by step process of how to do a yema cake:

1. Mixing -where in this process the flour and eggs are mixed.

2. Forming -After mixing the ingredients, the base of the cake must be form.

3. Baking -this is the process wherein the cake is to be cooked in the oven

4. Cooling -after baking the yema cake, it needs to be set aside.

5. Packaging -the process where the yema cake were put on the box.

6. Serving -the process which the yema cake are ready to served!

7. Delivering - the process wherein the yema cake is to be delivered on its specific location or

other branches.

C. PROCESS OF YEMACAKE MAKING

Yema Cake is another type of cake that Filipinos could be boast of. This one is a big hit among
Filipinos because of its seductive taste that’s probably the reason why it became popular all over
Metro Manila.

The word “Yema” is a Spanish word for “egg yolk”. But here in the Philippines, Yema refers to
a custard candy which has also an egg yolk and condensed milk.
This cake is just a simple chiffon cake that has Yema on top that serves as the icing. The icing
used in it is made from butter with a minimal amount of milk that makes it more flavorful.

Anyway, you can also make your own version of this kind of cake and you can also put
variations on it and have it on your own way, requiring that you’re still tracking the same
procedure for the sake of not destroying its appearance. Note that the egg that you will be going
to use can also affect the color of the Yema Cake. But whatever color would be the outcome it
doesn’t matter anyway coz what matters most is that it is still it tastes great

INGREDIENTS;
 50 g butter  ¼ tsp cream of tartar
 250 g cream cheese  140 g sugar
 110 ml milk  1 tsp vanilla extract
 1 vanilla pod (optional)  For the filling or icing
 60 g all purpose flour  2 cans condensed milk
 20 g cornstarch  6 egg yolks
 ¼ tsp salt  1 tsp vanilla extract
 6 egg yolks  ½ tsp almond extract
 1 tsp calamansi (or lemon) juice  ¼ cup butter
 6 egg whites  ½ cup grated cheese
INSTRUCTIONS;

1. In a small pan over simmering water, melt together cream cheese, butter and milk. If you
opt to use vanilla beans, scrape the beans from the vanilla pod and add it to the pan. Once

2. In a separate bowl, mix egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy (or frothy). Add in

cream cheese mixture. Make sure everything is well combined.
3. Pour batter into an 8-inch round cake pan covered with parchment paper. Bake the cake
in a water bath for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done at 325F.
4. To make the icing, open two cans of condensed milk and pour it over a pan. Add in egg
yolks and cook in low heat. Add in vanilla and almond extract. Cook until it thickens
enough to spread. Add in butter.
5. To assemble the Yema Cake, divide cake into two. Add the filling then cover it with the
other half of the cake. Cover the rest of the cake with icing. Top with grated cheese.

C. Plant Size

To make the proper choice of equipment and establish the relative operational capacity,

We drew up an executive plan by means of which it is possible to verify at every step the state

and amount of product and the plants involved. Through the study of the production cycle it is

possible to dimension the necessary processing and storage plants and at the same time make a

functional choice with respect to processing needs.
