BIM L1 Checklist

This document discusses the key activities and processes needed for effective Building Information Modelling (BIM) on a construction project. It recommends [1] developing agreed roles, responsibilities and standards early on, [2] creating a common data environment to share information, and [3] establishing quality policies to maintain models over time. It also suggests [3] establishing clear data exchange processes upfront, including formats, versions, testing and recording, as well as [4] defining management responsibilities, processes and requirements to properly design using BIM.
