    Wire Stems

    Supplies: 24 gauge wrapped floral wire, needle nose pliers

    1. Place the tip of the wire


    in the nose of the pliers.

    2. Wrap the wire over the top


    of the pliers to the right.

    3. Wrap the wire under the
    pliers bringing it back to
    the left.

    4. You will now have a loop


    in the tip of the wire. Ad-
    just the size of the loop to
    fit the center of the flower,
    making it larger than the
    center hole, but small enough
    3 that it doesn’t alter the
    shape of the flower. 4
    5. Place the wire loop in-
    side the nose of the pliers.
    Bend the remaining wire stem
    straight down.

    6. When bent, the stem will


    have a flat top with a
    straight base, similar to a

    5 nail.
