PERSONAL
EDUCATIONAL
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy of teaching
I believe a good teacher, first, has a powerful faith in
the future.
I believe that my calling is to plant and nuture seeds
that will grow and shape tommorow.
I believe that good teacher knows and understand
students how they develop and learn.
I believe that students actively construct and
transform their own knowledge based on past
experiences and prior learning.
I believe that students do not all learn in the same
way or at the same rate.
I believe that it is my responsibility as a teacher to be
an effective diagnostician of students’ interest,
abilities, and prior knowledge.
I must plan learning experiences that will both
challenge and allow every student to think and grow.
I believe that a good teacher must also understand
motivation and the effects of peer instructions on
learning.
I that teacher must know his subjects and how to
help students learn those subject.

Classroom Techniques
Lecture:
Lectures gives the instructors the chance to expose students to
unpublished or not readily available materials. It can be used to
arouse the interest of students in a subject. It complements
certain individual learning preferences. Some students depend
upon the structure provided by highly teacher-centered methods
and it also facilitates large-class communication.
Homework:
Homework improves the child’s thinking and memory, it helps
the child develop positive study skills and habits that will serve
him well. It allows the child to review and practice what has been
covered in class. It helps the child to use resources such as
libraries, reference materials, and computer websites to find
information.
Discussion:
Discussion offers students opportunities to test their ideas and
opinions of their peers. Through discussion, students acquire
knowledge and insight from diverse points of view. Discussion is
a way of testing and exploring new ideas.
Questioning:
Questioning is the key to gain more information and without it,
interpersonal communications can fail. It is fundamental to
successful communication. We all ask and are asked questions
when engaged in conversation.
Case Method:
Case method engaged learners in active learning. It can involve
participant-led presentations, exercise, role plays, speakers, and
informational lectures.
Demonstration:
Demonstration is a valuable alternative to getting students to
“learn by doing”. It can introduce students to specialized
equipment and materials and show them how they are used. At
the same time, they can draw students attention to the
psychomotor skills needed to undertake delicate tasks such as
an experiment.
Programmed Instruction:
Students are exposed only to correct responses, therefore,
possibility to commit errors is reduced. Immediate confirmation
of the results provides reinforcement to the learners and
encourages the learners to proceed further. Students may learn
at their own pace.
Below is a list of activities for creative thinking. Check the ones you have and shade the ones you intend

those you have used and discuss how you used them.
_√__Show enthusiasm
In the class present them real object or data that you are going
to use as your materials for learning. And use Authentic
Assessment by showing them a real life situation you can let the
pupils go outside to see or they can relate the lesson in real life.
REFLECTION
PAPER
I realized that success begins with a personal dream that is bigger than
the dreamer. There is success achieved through sheer force of will and
success that brings peace of mind and authentic joy. Achievements that
create a better world bring authentic joy to the achiever.
The ultimate recipe for the achievement is working cooperatively with others
to improve the quality of the life for all.
Focus your attention on your vision. You have the first ingredient for your
achievement which is your dream. Your dream is the blue-print to your future
where you need to begin.
If you want to achieved your dream, even though many problems you will
encountered you still do your task.
In this practice teaching, there are times that I want to surrender but through
my inspiration I survived.
When I am in the field, I loved my work wich is to teach the pupils. I can
share my knowledge to them.
It is very nice to the feeling that lots of people greeted me and saying
congratulations. I finally got my degree and I am excited to look a job and
help my parents.
I know being a teacher is a difficult job but if we look at the another side of
the coin it is the most rewarding and be proud of being a teacher because
the future depends on you.
