While cloning experiments on sheep, pigs, goats, cats and dogs are accepted, human cloning raises social, moral and ethical issues as it could allow humans to play God by creating life. Some believe only God should create humans and that cloning human embryos or destroying them in research goes against nature. Thus, if used, cloning should only benefit humanity.

    CLONING-Can we play the role of God?

    Good Morning teachers and my dear friends .Today,I am going to talk about
    Cloning.How many of you know the meaning of Cloning?Cloning is the process of
    producing genetically identical individuals of and organism either naturally or artificially.

    Have you ever wished to have a clone of yourself?As technology to clone mammals
    advances,it becomes more and more likely that one day humans could have a clone as
    well.Already experiments are going on and the first successful clone was of a sheep
    named Dolly which was the first to be cloned from an adult cell.

    Now,the question that arises is by cloning can we play the role of God?Human
    cloning involves many social,moral and ethical considerations.Cloning may be useful to
    experiment with sheep,pig,goat,cats and dogs ut the idea of human cloning is not
    approved by some.

    Many people think that God id the master creator and believe that it is wrong for
    scientists to use cloning to create human embryos or to destroy embryos in the course
    of research and deep down there is a view that humans should not be tampering with
    the natural world.Thus,cloning should only be used for the benefit of mankind.
