FEATURE

LCP SNAPSEAM® is an architectural panel featuring

“Snap-Together” seam installation. This panel profile has
an integral fastener strip attached with no clips required.
LCP SNAPSEAM® panels are fixed through the fastener
strips on the male rib, offering a quick installation and
flexibility in design. Typical applications include roofing,
walling, soffit and mansard. The panel is available in 25
or 38mm rib heights.

ARCHITECTURAL SPECIFICATION
The roofing and/or wall cladding metal sheets shall be 0.55mm BMT. LCP SNAPSEAM® produced by LCP Building
Products Pte. Ltd., with rib height of 25mm at 495mm panel cover width, or rib height of 38mm at 470mm panel cover
width. Other panel cover widths are available upon request. The sheets shall be installed using the integrated fastener
strips at male rib-end in accordance to manufacturer’s recommendations. The panels will be fixed to flat battens that
are manufactured from 0.55mm BMT G300 Clean COLORBOND® steel or ZINCALUME® steel. The other option to support
the panels is Z-batten or Top Hat supports which will be manufactured by LCP Building Products Pte. Ltd. using G300
galvanised material in 1.0mm or thicker. Alternatively, G500 or G550 can also be used, subject to enquiry. For more
information, please contact LCP Building Products Pte. Ltd., Technical Department. The LCP SNAPSEAM® ribs must be
snapped-on to complete the installation of the roof.

The sheeting material shall comply to Australian Standard AS 1397 with a minimum yield stress of 300MPa (Grade
G300), metallic hot-dip coated with aluminium/ zinc alloy comprising 55% aluminium, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon. The
minimum coating mass for the aluminium/ zinc alloy coated steel shall be AZ 200 (200 g/m2 minimum coating mass) as
determined by Australia Standard AS 1397.

Wherever applicable, the installation of the metal sheets shall be in accordance to the “Installation code for metal
roofing and wall cladding; Standard Australia SAA HB39-1997”.

A minimum of 50mm shall be provided for projection into gutters. Flashings shall be supplied in compatible materials,
as specified. Minimum cover of flashing shall be 150mm.

All sheeting shall be fixed in a workman like manner, leaving the job clean and weather-tight. All debris (nuts, screws,
cuttings, filings etc.) shall be cleaned off daily.

COLOUR COATING OPTIONS

Clean COLORBOND® pre-painted steel is resistant to dirt

ROOF PITCH

LCP SNAPSEAM® - Roof Pitch Characteristics

Rib Height (mm) 25 38
Minimum Pitch (Degrees) 5 5
The water carrying capacity of LCP SNAPSEAM® roofing allows for a minimum slope of 5 degrees, subject to specific
design factors. It is imperative that this minimum slope is adhered to all points of the roof to prevent ponding from
occurring. If the roof slope is 7 to 5 degrees, a sealant must be installed over the male rib of the LCPoSNAPSEAM®
before snapping-in or a water proofing layer to be installed under the LCP SNAPSEAM®. For more information regarding
minimum pitch, please contact LCP Building Products Pte. Ltd., Technical Department.

SPRUNG CURVE : LCP SNAPSEAM® can be sprung curve on site during installation. For sprung curve limit, please consult
