SPSS

A regression analysis was conducted to predict scores on variable Y based on scores on variable X. The regression model was statistically significant. Variable X was a significant predictor of variable Y, with higher scores on X associated with higher scores on Y. The regression model explained approximately 35% of the variance in Y.
