BACKGROUND Describe the problem situation or opportunity for improvement, and the potential contribution to the achievement of
specific school/learner outcomes (SIP).
AND
RATIONALE FGD responses shows that grade 7 learners were having difficulties in
understanding basic concepts in Math as based on the result of Zero Non
Numerates Test. In the school year 2016-2017 the number of learners that are
non-numerates reach a total of 25.This shows that the learners find difficulties in
understanding basic math concepts resulting to low performance level.
Therefore, the Mathematics Department has decided to conduct the Project
Seven in order to set an effective vessel to lessen the non-numerates
Specific, measurable, attainable, result-based, and time-bound (SMART), achievable within the project timeline.
OBJECTIVES
To make 100% of the non numerates students become numerates within school
year 2016-2018.
